We are proud to support Saint Peter’s Chaldean Church with their humanitarian efforts and fundraising event for the Iraqi Christian Relief Fund.
Saint Peter’s hosted a fundraising event to raise awareness and funding of the current crisis in Iraq and Syria. Over 600,000 Iraqi Christians are being persecuted, and have been left homeless, living in dire conditions after the Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) bombed, ransacked, and seized their homes. The Christian homes now belong to the Islamic State. 100% of the funds raised at the event go directly to buying clothing, food, medicine, and basic necessities for those displaced in this crisis.
We have been informed by the Fullerton Fire Department that there is a broken gas line right out in front of our property on Commonwealth Ave. At this time, no one is permitted to leave or enter the property. We are proud to support Serving Hands International.
Serving Hands International was founded after a large family and many friends made a tradition of giving to the poorest of the poor in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico. Serving Hands has grown over the past 30 years, expanding their monetary support to partners in Peru, Tanzania, Uganda, South Sudan, and the Philippines. The mission of Serving Hands International is to aid the poorest people in the world and strive to encourage in them self-sufficiency, dignity and hope by providing educational and vocational opportunities, food, clothing, shelter, medical assistance and spiritual guidance.

Regarding the recent donation, Brian Caster, President and CEO of A-1 Self Storage, said “I visited Serving Hands International’s partners in Tijuana, Baja California, Mexico and was impressed with the work they are doing south of the border. We are proud to support Saint Martin De Porres High School in Cleveland, Ohio.
Our donation is in support of the school’s Building Campaign. Since the school’s inception, they have delivered on their promise to provide students of modest economic means with a college preparatory education aimed at helping young men and women develop the habits of mind and spirit that will enable them to be successful in college, in their careers, and in life. The Corporate Work Study Program, the hallmark of the Cristo Rey Network, is also an integral component of the mission of Saint Martin de Porres High School, which is to transform urban Cleveland one student at a time. The workplace learning that each student experiences will be an integral part of his or her development as a scholar, as a professional, and as a person.
