Traffic Impact Due to Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon in San Diego, CA

On Sunday, May 31, 2015, San Diego will be hosting the 18th annual Rock ‘n’ Roll Marathon & 1/2 Marathon.  This event will bring more than 30,000 runners and walkers to San Diego streets, in addition to tens of thousands of spectators.Rock n Roll SD_logo-for-web

Be aware of road closures and detours between 5 AM and 2 PM throughout the city. Due the size of this event, we have several San Diego A-1 Self Storage locations affected. The parking lot at 1190 W. Morena Blvd. will not be accessible until approximately 1 PM.  Traffic around our A-1 Self Storage locations at 2235 Pacific Highway and 3911 Pacific Highway will be delayed.  Please plan to allow for extra travel time or plan an alternate route accordingly. For more information check out the Race Course Map.

Potential Traffic Impact Due to La Mesa Flag Day Parade

The City of La Mesa is holding their annual Flag Day Parade on Saturday, May 30th.  This patriotic event, known as “A Salute to Old Glory,” is an annual tradition featuring a parade and other festivities in the Village.FlagDayParade2

The Parade starts at 10:00 am and proceeds along La Mesa Boulevard from Memorial Drive, through the downtown village, to Acacia Avenue. As a result, traffic around our A-1 Self Storage location in La Mesa on Spring Street may be delayed. Please check the traffic information provided by the City to determine if your trip will be affected

Main Entrance Delay at A-1 Self Storage Oceanside Due to Construction

There will be delays at our A-1 Self Storage – Oceanside store at 3040 Oceanside Blvd., due to construction at the main entrance.

The City of Oceanside is conducting pipeline work for a new recycled water pipeline along Oceanside Blvd. as part of its active Drought Response Plan. This construction will impact the main entrance at our A-1 Self Storage facility during the month of June. Please allow for a brief delay as you enter and exit the storage facility during this time and drive cautiously around the area.

Most work will occur at night, however, construction equipment will remain in and around the main entrance off Oceanside Blvd.

During week days, one lane will be available at all times to access our facility. On weekend days, the City will return access to two full lanes. Therefore to avoid traffic delays, we would suggest coming to the facility on the weekend if possible.

If you are planning a big move during this time frame, please contact A-1 Self Storage at (760) 722-2559. If you have questions regarding construction, please contact the City of Oceanside Water Utilities Project Information Line at (760) 435-5833. We appreciate your patience!

Pay Online Issue for OS X Yosemite Users

Updated 5/27/15 – This issue has been resolved.

Due to the OS X Yosemite update released recently, some users are reporting they are unable to access our Pay Online system. It appears to be affecting only OS X Yosemite v10.10.3 users at this time.

The issue affects the Safari browser. Other browsers, such as Firefox and Chrome are able to access the website. If you have an alternate browser installed, you may wish to use it to submit your payment until this issue is fully resolved.

We are diligently working with our vendor to resolve the issue, and hope to have full functionality restored for all users soon. Please check back for additional updates.
